Neuroinformatics 2011 in Boston will be the 4th Congress organized by INCF where CARMEN also be present. Neural Coding and Computation Workshop - 31st August 2010, ManchesterThe aim of the workshop is to present cutting edge research on neural coding from a multidisciplinary perspective. 6th CARMEN Consortium MeetingThis is an important meeting as it will be one of the last opportunities to review new developments and project progress before the end of the current EPSRC funding. This meeting will be a chance to discuss opportunities for new projects allied to CARMEN. Our latest recruitAt the beginning of February Rasmus Petersen took over from Stefano Panzeri as the CARMEN investigator at the University of Manchester. Another New Recruit!Just over a month after welcoming three new members to CARMEN, we've recruited another one, Jose Luis Vega. Jose has just joined Stuart Baker's group at Newcastle and will be working on WP5. Here he gives us a little information to introduce himself to the Consortium. TalkScience Event: ‘Scientific Researchers and Web 2.0: Social NotWorking?’On 24th September at 6pm in the British Library at St. Pancras, TalkScience are holding an event to question: ‘Scientific Researchers and Web 2.0: Social NotWorking?’ Complexity in the Brain WorkshopThis inter-disciplinary workshop, supported by an EPSRC Bridging the Gap grant, aims to bring together a range of researchers interested in the generation and analysis of neuroscience data. The workshop takes place at the University of Strathclyde on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd September. New Recruits to CARMENThis month sees three new project members join CARMEN.
